The Dualys HICO/LOCO Magnetic stripe encoder |
The Dualys MAG will print single or both sides and magnetic encode your blank mag strip cards. Both LOCO and HICO magnetic
strip cards are encodeable via the Dualys MAG. The Evolis Dualys card printer will print your cards and eject into front
hopper which is capable of holding 100 cards (30 mil). The detachable
card feeder allows for quick reloading of cards and keeps the cards
protected from dust and dirt. Dualys membership card printers are
used in; Hotels, Offices, Schools, Airports, Construction sites,

The Dualys Contact Smart Card encoder |
Give an "intelligent" dimension
to your cards by taking advantages of the Dualys SMART Printer
from Evolis.
The Dualys SMART is based on the characteristics of the
Dualys printer and integrates a Smart Card Contact Station
which enables you to personalise the chip cards. The Dualys
SMART is compatible with any ISO 7816-2 Chip Cards.
The push & contact system of the Smart Card Contact Station
provides the contact with the card only when a personalisation
of the chip is required. This advantage ensures a better Contact
Station durability and a higher card printing quality as it prevents
scratches on the card surface. Smart Cards have a microchip with
a memory embedded, this memory can be programmed. A cash card
could be regularly recharged with new monies and then used as
an electronic wallet. The more advanced cards contain a micro
processor opening up the possibilities for future applications.
Most of the systems of personalising the Smart
Cards are invisible
to the average card holder. The processes used varied in implementation
and complexity depending on the type of Smart Card that is being
used.
The Dualys SMART Card Printer offers card personalisation
as it codes the chip and prints on the card in one go. This single
card personalisation system provides flexibility and ability
to obtain in a few minutes a finished card-in-hand.
To personalize the chip, the Dualys SMART Card Printer integrates
a Smart Card Contact Station to program the Smart Cards which
complies with ISO 7816-2.
It is also equipped with a DB-9 connector at the back of the
printer. This connector which is directly linked to the Smart
Card Contact Station inside the printer is to be linked to
an external reader/encoder to program the chip.

the card holder to be only in the area of the card reader to
register.
Proven, reliable technology that offers extremely
consistent read range. ISO 7811,ISO 7816-2 Unaffected by body
shielding or variable environmental conditions, even when close
to keys and coins. Thin and can be carried with credit cards
in a wallet or purse. Use with a strap and clip as

Read/write Functionality for Multi-functional Memory Applications
Sixteen securely separated files (sectors), each protected by
a set of two keys and programmable access conditions, allow complex
applications and provide for future expansion. Each
sector potentially represents a different application. Arithmetic
functions are used for expanding the capabilities of the chip.
Different keys can protect read/write operations in order to
build key hierarchies in the system. Security mechanisms such
as mutual authentication and encryption are efficiently combined
with fast processing and data communication, resulting in transaction
times of less than 100 milliseconds for a typical secure ticketing
transaction.
